We are in Dunedin till tomorrow. Dunedin means Edinburgh in ancient Celtic apparently and it does have a Scottish feel to it - it even has a Scottish shop with tartans, whisky, Scottie dogs and so on.

Dunedin also proclaims itself to be:

Largest city by area in NZ
5th largest city by area in the world
Home of New Zealand's first:
- University
- Botanic Gardens
- Art Gallery
- Daily Newspaper
Home of the worlds steepest street.
The worlds only mainland breeding colony of Northern Royal Albatross.
New Zealands most photographed building - the railway station which we are off to see now!
